SWEET / SPECIAL BOY: 10 years old / 16 lbs. I'm so excited because my eye sight has come back!! When I came to Mostly Mutts, I couldn't see at all, but the eye specialist put me on a few eye medications 3 times a day and the scar tissue in the back of my eyes is breaking up so I am seeing again! I've been told that I could get most of my sight back with continued care and it looks like that is happening! The eye meds are pretty easy to administer as I get kibble treats after each of them and I love that, so sit still for my eye care. I still can't hear, but I use my nose and restored sight to make up for that loss. I'm a sweet and loving doggie that enjoys belly rubs and is good with other nice dogs. I have pretty good potty habits; just take me out on a regular schedule. I like to be close to my people, enjoy just hanging out and am really easy to care for. I should not live with anyone who is a fall risk though, since I won't hear to move out of their way. So just make sure your home is safe for me and I'll love you forever! Older gentle children please, due to my special needs. My adoption fee has been waived and Mostly Mutts is asking for a minimum donation of $50.00 for me and a wonderful forever home. PLAYFUL / FUN PUPPY: 4 - 5 months old / Likely small once full grown. I got my name due to my "Coal" color when I was rescued because I had terrible case of non-contagious mange and almost no hair. Now my hair is growing in nicely and I only need a simple monthly treatment for a few more months, then I should be all healed up! I'm a typical active and happy puppy. I love to chew on bones, run in the yard, play fetch with tennis balls and stuffed toys, sit on laps and play and cuddle with the other big dogs in my foster home. Having a dog friend in my new home would be great, perhaps even my sibling who was also rescued with mange, "Ash". I'm working on my potty training and keep my crate clean in my foster home although I still make a little noise in it. Have lots of things for me to chew as I'm young and enjoy chewing. I'll also need lots of love, patience and training in general to grow up and be a great dog that you can be proud of. Energy level: 5 - 6, likely a little higher once I'm fully recovered. SWEET LITTLE PUPPY: 4 - 5 months old / Small. I got my name due to my "Ash" color when I was rescued because I had terrible case of non-contagious mange and almost no hair. Now my hair is growing in nicely and I only need a simple monthly treatment for a few more months, then I should be all healed up! I'm a typical happy little puppy that still has a lot to learn, like potty training and basic commands as well as crate training. I'm a little behind due to my illness so I'll need my family to patiently train me. I love to sit in laps, be wrapped in small blankets or have a towel to make a nest with, be carried around, and cuddle with other dogs. I also enjoy playing with other dogs, both large and small and enjoy the big ones in my foster home. Having a dog friend in my new home would be great, perhaps even my sibling who was also rescued with mange, "Coal". I also enjoy bones, running around in a fenced yard on nice days and I love my people. I'll be best with older gentle children as I'm small and can get a little grumpy if my sleep is interrupted. Energy level: Currently 3-4, likely higher when I'm fully recovered. I'm Spayed and have had most of my puppy shots. BEAUTIFUL / SWEET GIRL: 3 years old / 10 lbs. I'm a sweet, calm and smart dog that's a little shy at first, but once I warm up to you, which only takes a few minutes, then you'll have a friend for life. I love to be with my person and I love to cuddle. I walk very well on a leash, seem to be house trained and love to play with toys. I get along nicely with most other dogs but I did pick on one little dog previously. If you have a lap that needs a little dog to sit in it, then I'll fill the spot for you. My first choice in people is women as it appears that a previous man in my life was not nice to me, but I've been around some kind and patient men and do like them. Once I settle in somewhere, I'm just a happy girl and you'll enjoy my company! I keep my crate clean but honestly, I'd rather be with you and not crated. Older gentle kids please, as I'm small.
